Installing M365 Apps on Your Phone
This guide shows you how to install and sign in to the key Microsoft 365 mobile apps — Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive — on your iPhone or Android phone.

Before you begin
Your work email address and password. An iPhone (iOS 16 or later) or Android phone (Android 10 or later). A stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.

Step-by-step guide
Install Outlook on iPhone
- Instruction 1: Open the App Store on your iPhone.
- Instruction 2: Search for Microsoft Outlook and tap Get, then Install.
- Instruction 3: Once installed, open Outlook and tap Add Account.
- Instruction 4: Enter your work email address and tap Add Account. Outlook will detect that it is a Microsoft 365 account.
- Instruction 5: Enter your password, then approve the MFA request if prompted.
- Instruction 6: Your work email and calendar will sync to the app within a few minutes.

- Instruction 1: Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.

Install Teams on iPhone or Android
- Instruction 1: On iPhone: open the App Store, search for Microsoft Teams, and tap Get.
- Instruction 2: On Android: open the Play Store, search for Microsoft Teams, and tap Install.
- Instruction 3: Open the Teams app and tap Sign In. Enter your work email address and password.
- Instruction 4: Approve the MFA request if prompted. Teams will load your chats, channels, and calendar.
Install OneDrive on iPhone or Android
- Instruction 1: On iPhone: search for Microsoft OneDrive in the App Store and tap Get.
- Instruction 2: On Android: search for Microsoft OneDrive in the Play Store and tap Install.
- Instruction 3: Open OneDrive and tap Sign In. Enter your work email address and password.
- Instruction 4: Approve the MFA request if prompted. Your work files will appear under My Files.
- Instruction 5: You can optionally enable Camera Upload to automatically back up photos to OneDrive — consider whether your organisation's policy permits this before turning it on. If unsure, ask the helpdesk.

Troubleshooting
The app asks me to enrol my device in mobile device management
Your organisation may require phones to be enrolled in Microsoft Intune for security. Follow the prompts to enrol — this lets IT remotely wipe only the work apps and data if your phone is lost, not your personal content. If you are unsure whether to proceed, contact the helpdesk.
Outlook on my phone is not receiving emails
Check that you have a working internet connection. Open Outlook settings and confirm your account is listed and connected. Try removing and re-adding the account. If the issue continues, contact the helpdesk.
